Hi everyone.
My name is Shlomo.
I am a food addict and compulsive overeater.

Step Five: "Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs." The wrongs are my character defects. The exact nature means how the defects are interwoven in my life and influence my thoughts feelings and actions to myself to God and to others.

Let us get to the assignments.

ASSIGNMENTS

1. Read the chapter INTO ACTION in the Big Book pages 72-75 "Having made our personal inventory.....every dark cranny of our past"
Mark the sentences that resonate with you. Pay special attention to the following: humility, consequences of skipping step five, what is required of us in step five, what is required of the person with whom we do step five, waste no time, life and death errand. Reflect and share with us.

2. Read step five in the A.A 12&12.
Mark the sentences that resonate with you. Pay special attention to the following: ego deflation, consequences of bypassing step five, what we receive from step five, A special definition of humility, the benefits of talking to another person, choosing the person for step five, being one with God and man. Reflect and share with us.

3. ACTION.
Choose the person with whom you are going to do step five . Set a date for doing step five as soon as possible. To do the step meet that person face to face. If that is not possible use the phone. I remind you that you can use www.skype.com or www.jajah.com for free of charge or minimal charge phone calls all over the world. Share with us who you have chosen and the date.

4. After doing step five: Read the Big Book page 75 "Once we have taken this step... Spirit of the Universe."
Reflect and share with us the promises that began to materialize in your life.

5. After step five before step six.
The Big Book uses the metaphor of an arch to freedom to describe the action of the steps. Look at: http://www.oahouston.org/BB/Arch.pdf Copy the sentences that describe the foundation, the cornerstone, the keystone Find and copy the definition of the two part cement on page 17 in the Big Book.

Read the Big Book page 75-76 "Returning home...look at Step Six"
Pay special attention to: we now know God better, five proposals(steps), five questions we have to answer, How long do we wait before step Six. Reflect and share with us.
