Daily surrender list (with motives included)

Pray the 7th step prayer/commitment of partnership, on your knees before a live witness;

"My Creator, I am now willing that you should have all of me, good and bad.
I pray that you now remove from me every single defect of character which stands in the way of my usefulness to you and my fellows.

Grant me strength, as I go out from here, to do your bidding.

  • Define what is Humbleness? Humility? Humiliation?
  • Give examples of how you can act humble?
  • Why do you need to be humble?
  • Are you convinced that these defects of character must go?
  • What does it mean: You should have "all of me, good and bad"?
  • How can God actually "remove" shortcomings? Forever?
  • What does it take before God can and will remove them?
  • What does the expression "spiritual muscles" mean to you?
  • This new "partnership", what is your part in it?
  • Can you kneel down to say the 7th step prayer out load in front of a witness?
  • How did it feel?
  • What can you practice instead when you feel anger?
  • Self-pity?
  • Resentments?
  • Fear?
  • Selfishness?
  • Procrastination?
  • Hunger or cravings?
  • What does "progress before perfection" mean to you?
  • How can you feed "the white dog"?
  • How can you keep your commitment when you are in the heat of the moments and have doubts about "Gods will"?
  • How and why can the Serenity prayer help you in your daily life?

Step 7 guarantees:

You are not alone anymore, you have a mission and you have the best helper! You are now ready to cope with all lifeís challenges in a new and healthier way.

Keep up the good work, keep posting! If you are running late, try to keep it up and be ready for step 8 next week.


I put my hand in yours and together we can do what we could never do alone. No longer is there a sense of hopelessness, no longer must we each depend upon our own unsteady willpower. We are all together now, reaching out our hands for power and strength greater than ourselves, and as we join hands, we find LOVE and UNDERSTANDING beyond our wildest dreams.
