THE RECOVERY GROUP
Do you need help now?
Sometimes it all seems too much and you need to talk to someone about what you are going through. Each of these links have 24 hour hotlines which will connect you with counselors who can listen to you and give you support, ideas and information on what you could do. A domestic violence service can talk to you about abuse in relationships. A sexual assault or rape crisis service can support you if you have been sexually assaulted or raped. If you're suicidal for any reason, please know that these services are just at the end of the phone and can help you now.
Feeling nervous about calling ~ not sure if you can tell anyone what is going on? You don't have to ... you can just reach out, ask a few questions and find out what help is there. You are in control ... you only need to talk about things that you are comfortable talking about. You donít have to give your name, and you can just hang up if you feel uncomfortable. If you wish to, you can ask to be referred to someone you can talk to face to face. If you are worried about keeping what you tell them confidential, just ask them before you start talking about their policy on confidentiality.
Just pick up the phone ~ there is a way through this ... one step at a time.
You are not alone anymore.
If you are feeling suicidal RIGHT NOW please read Metanoia.org
