TRG's 12 Steps Anonymous is a support group dedicated to the Twelve Steps of Overeaters Anonymous. Our loop is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively.
There are no dues or fees for members; we have been blessed with men and women who give service to others because they know that in giving their service, they will get as much or more in return as they give. The 12 Step Anonymous support group asks each member to share using appropriate 12 Step protocol. That means that crosstalk is against our guidelines. Although we encourage you to make friends here and to write others, we ask that you do not send private letters to the whole loop. If someone shares something that resonates with you and you wish to say thank you, by all means do so ... but send it to them privately. Realizing that appropriate sharing is a learning curve for many, please do not get upset if you are sent a gentle reminder about your share. This is the way we learn ... and this is the way we can all work together to honor the mission of 12 Steps Anonymous.
If you are a newcomer to the 12 Step Program, we urge you to join our newcomer's program and rejoin us here after you have finished this program. There is so much to learn and the newcomer's orientation will make it possible for you to reach your recovery goals without confusion or becoming overwhelmed.
Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive overeating and to carry the message of recovery to those who still suffer. If you are a compulsive overeater and want to join our online recovery groups, we welcome you with open arms.
