The Recovery Group has always asked the Trusted Servants to commit
to a set term for their service. Originally, the term was six months but
a group conscience changed that to twelve months. Currently the terms
of the Trusted Servants run from January 1 to December 31. We
encourage our Trusted Servants to renew their terms and there are
several reasons we do that. We guess the best reason is because it
takes a while to learn the job ... and the more experience our
Trusted Servants have working with the loops, the meetings and in
other areas, the better they become.
HOW LONG IS THE COORDINATOR'S TERM?
TRG has a protocol in the event a Trusted Servant can't serve the full
term. We are supposed to give two weeks notice, notify our Division
Chair and TRGAdm and recruit and train our replacement.
