Welcome to our COKids Web Site. COKids is a group in cyberspace dedicated to children ... children who compulsively overeat ... or who show signs that they may. We'd like to tell you a little about our Child's Journey to Recovery.
COKids is an organization of not just parents and grandparents of children with eating disorders, but also therapists, teachers, relatives and close friends of these innocent victims of our disease. We in COKids share with one another in a private discussion group the problems children encounter as a result of compulsive eating.
One purpose of the group is to determine ways to help our children recover from this disorder at an early age so that they will not reach adulthood hampered by this disease.
Another is to provide a forum using the advancing technologies of the Internet for the children themselves to interact with one another in supervised discussion groups of their own. A companion list called KIDS is available to these children.
