Good News!!!

Good News! I'm going to have chemo and radiation. The good part of this is that the tumor started and ended in the breast. I misunderstood what the doctor said about it being somewhere else in my body, so I've been panicking for nothing for the last 2 days. Never would I have thought that chemo and radiation would be a good thing! I feel like a ton has been lifted off my shoulders. I see the oncologist at 12:30 tomorrow. I'm so grateful for my two OA angels that joined me today. They were awesome! I saw my oncologist today and we made the decision to go ahead with the chemo, followed by radiation. I will go probably Monday to have a port put in. This is a device that is surgically implanted under the skin and attached to an artery. Blood can be drawn from it, as well as the chemo and any other IV treatments. Chemo begins on Friday the 10th. I know this isn't going to be easy, but I know also that God will get me through this. I told the oncology nurse that I'll be the bald lady with rhinestone earrings!!! A girl's gotta look pretty at all costs! ~ Lee Anne INDEX PART 6
