DAY SIXTY TWO ~ MEETING SIXTY TWO Instead of using God as your last resort, use Him as your first resource.
I have always, up until the point of finding this program, only used God as my last resort. There were times when I just screamed out to Him to help me, crying and out of control. I couldn't ever figure out why this didn't work. I was only going to him when I was in the absolute depths of despair and feeling as though my life was over or soon going to end.
Now, today and every day, I go to Him first. I do not wait for all those bad things to happen. I go to Him and ask Him for the help I need. I ask Him for blessings to be bestowed on my loved ones, acquaintances, friends, and anyone I come into contact with, whether I like them or not. When something is starting to frustrate me (most likely my children or husband), I go directly to God and send up a quick prayer. In fact, just yesterday, Trey (my 3 yr. old) was driving me bananas and I could feel the anger building. I started to say a quick prayer and Trey came to the desk and wanted to know what I was doing. I took great pride in telling him that I was asking God for help so that I didn't get too angry with him.
